A creative brief is essentially a short story, no more and no less, that tells you exactly what you should expect from the project. It should tell you what kind of format the film will be shot in, how long it will be, and what specific scenes or videos will be used. This brief should help you determine what kind of budget you have and what kind of end result you are trying to achieve. If you go with an established company then they should be able to give you these things for free, but it never hurts to ask.

If you think about it, the company is already creating content for you that you can upload right onto YouTube or any other video site and that means that you do not have to do anything except to sit back and let them do all of the hard work for you. However, you need to make sure that they have a creative brief so that you feel like you’re involved in the process. As long as you follow the instructions given to you by your creative firm, you shouldn’t have any issues.
